Tovit's research focuses on facilitating teachers' learning in professional development by analyzing teacher-facilitator interactions. It aims to identify opportunities that support or hinder teachers in challenging their assumptions and expanding their practices. Hopefully, these insights will lead to improvements in professional development designs and facilitation practices.

Tovit has experience as a teacher, staff developer, and school management team member in Bat-Yam and has facilitated in the "Teach First Israel" program. She currently works in the Research and Development department at Avney Rosha, The Israeli Institute for School Leadership.
